Attorney Profiles

A seasoned trial attorney, Joe joined the firm in June of 2008 and brings 30 years of varied litigation experience with him. For the previous 16 years he managed the Phoenix Arizona staff counsel office for a worldwide commercial insurance company. During that time he was responsible for the staff attorneys, paralegal assistants and secretary/clerical support staff. Joe carried a full case load as well and tried over 25 jury trials to verdict. The cases involved personal injury, wrongful death and catastrophic injuries in the areas of vehicular accidents, dram shop, product liability and construction site accidents.

Most recently his area of expertise expanded to included Construction Defect litigation and in the last three years has tried two of those types of cases to verdict.

Joe began his legal career in the Chicago metropolitan area where he practiced with his father in Chicago's western suburbs. The call of the wild west lured him and his family to Arizona in 1984. He has predominantly concentrated on insurance defense cases since coming to Arizona.

A former college football player and coach, his passion outside of the law is football favoring the high school and college levels. Joe also enjoys digital landscape photography, creative writing and traveling the backroads of Arizona.
