The Arizona homestead exemption, found in A.R.S. § 33-1101, protects up to $150,000 of equity in the debtor’s homestead, primarily against the claims of unsecured creditors, including those who obtain judgments. It does not protect against deeds of trust or mortgages which are consensually given.
